E3 2017

Error Machine Podcast 113 – High and Lows of E3 2017

E3 2017 has come and gone, and even though you’ve already read our postmortems, you can still listen to what my co-host and I have to say about the event in greater detail. We go conference by conference and talk about all the major announcements from each. A lot of time is given to the Nintendo presentation, and we also spend a good amount of time talking about the Xbox One X and settle the debate on whether the name is better or worse than “Wii U.”

I’m currently in the middle of writing a feature on Metroid: Samus Returns, which is one of my more anticipated announcements, but I also have my reservations. I’ll go into those in much greater detail when the feature goes live, but you can get a sneak peak in this podcast.

But E3 isn’t all we get into this episode. We also talk about Sega Forever, the new mobile app allowing you to play classic Sega Genesis games. $1.99 sounds like a great idea to be able to play Comix Zone, but buyer beware! Luke also condemns me for drinking too much caffeine, but I argue that I’m just pushing my body to its absolute limit, because I’m XTREEEEEME!
