JungleDrums Episode 15! AcuteJungle66 is once again joined by Gimboid and SergeantJay to get into the past few weeks’ worth of gaming news, covering some game developer announcements, Xbox Game pass release, alongside AMD’s new line of graphics cards and Intel’s next big thing.
This Week on JungleDrums:
Beam has been rebranded as Mixer! The crew goes into detail on what’s different between Mixer and other platforms like Twitch, describing the key features already in place, new co-op streaming being setup, and what else is coming. Ubisoft shared news on the Rainbow Six: Siege Operation Health and how it’s going to affect the game’s content in upcoming months, wanting to focus more on the in-game bugs first. Also, Far Cry 5 will be presented next month at the annual E3 game conference, but a released a piece of key art that gives some hints as to the game’s content.
AMD CEO Lisa Su reveals the new Gaming RX Vega which should be launching “very soon”, going into some details on the new major architecture overhaul this line of graphics cards have and what it may compare to on the market today. Following up is the possibly-leaked 12-core processors that Intel may bring to desktops as part of the new Core i9 release, the specs that are shown, and comparisons to what else may be out there.
